Love One Another – John 13:33-35, 15:9-17 – July 31, 2022

When Jesus was with his disciples on earth he kept them together. He corralled, corrected, and connected this group of strong-willed men when they didn’t get along. When Jesus left them, he gave them a new commandment to love one another as he loved them. Today we hear these words of Jesus and ask ourselves if we are obedient people. Do we know the love of Christ? Do we love one another? Can all people say of us that we are the disciples of Jesus because we love one another? May the new commandment, given a long time ago, fall fresh on our hearts today.

Grace Community Church exists to build spiritually healthy people for ministry in the world. One of the ways that we pursue this mission is by gathering each Sunday for corporate worship, prayer, and biblical teaching. The corporate nature of this gathering is both edifying to the believer and a witness of God’s grace to the world. Sermon speaker is Scott Patty unless otherwise noted.
