Feb 04, 2024 Turn to Me and Be Saved – Isaiah 44:24-45:25 – February 4, 2024
The LORD thunders forth his absolute sovereignty over all. He reveals his intentions to save his people and his unexpected means for doing so. He insists that he is right in doing what he does in the way he chooses to do it. He again challenges those who still rely upon themselves or other gods. Then, once he has established that he alone is God, he calls us to turn to him. God’s insistence upon being God is the basis of our salvation. He saves us on his terms. He saves all who turn to him. As the word unfolds we see that he saves us through Jesus Christ. Turn to him today.
