Mar 10, 2017 Missions at Grace – March Opportunities
GRACE OPPORTUNITIES
– There will be a dinner meeting at Grace on Sunday, April 2, from 5:30-7:00pm to discuss how we can befriend and love our international neighbors. If you have international friends, work among internationals, or are interested in learning more about international ministry, this will be a great time to share together. Food will be provided and childcare is offered for those who require it. Register
– Have you been thinking about reaching out to internationals? Do you need help in knowing how to get started? Take this short survey to assist us in helping you to “engage one.”
LOCAL OPPORTUNITIES
– This week through March 15, book fair volunteers are needed at Tusculum Elementary School for 2-hour time slots in the morning and afternoon. You can sign up to help or contact Stacy Cagle for more information.
– Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home is preparing now for their spring Run for Kids on Saturday, April 22. This event will be held at TBCH’s Brentwood campus and all proceeds will benefit their work with at risk children. You and your family can participate in the 5K Run/Walk or 1-mile Kids Run (early bird registration ends March 22!). Race day volunteers and sponsors are also needed. Contact: Jeff McGinnis
– The Nashville World Relief office is in the process of permanently closing. Pray that God will continue to equip other ministries (such as Siloam Health and Begin Anew) and individual volunteers to serve refugees in our city.
