Missions at Grace

INTRODUCING…

Grace Community Church has brought on Josh Lansford as our new Cross-Cultural Apprentice. As we continue to focus on internationals in our city, our leadership decided to create this role to help us better reach the nations. Josh and his wife Tracie have become members of Grace and they have three children: Emma Kate, Eli, and Ellie. Josh is engaging internationals and will help train and provide opportunities for our church to be involved among the nations in Nashville. If you want to grab coffee with Josh or ask any questions related to his work, you can contact him at jlansford@gccnashville.org. And if you see him and his family at Grace, be sure to welcome them!

PRAY

According to the U.S. Department of State, Christians in more than 60 countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding neighbors because of their belief in Jesus Christ. Every Sunday in 2017, we will be praying for the persecuted church in specific countries. You can view the Open Doors prayer calendar and pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

SERVE

Begin Anew serves adult students with job skills classes and other practical help. They are looking for childcare volunteers to serve on Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings at the Church at Woodbine so that parents can participate in their ESL classes. Contact: Elizabeth Rockwell

GIVE

Project Connect is a local ministry partner that connects people and churches to help break the cycle of poverty. They recently got settled into a new office and training space and need to stock up on staple items like paper goods, coffee, creamer, and water bottles. Contact: Michelle Murdock
