Missions at Grace – January Opportunities

PRAY

– Join us at David & Jenna Ray’s home this Sunday, January 8, at 6:30pm to lift up our global missions partners in prayer. Eric Bardin and Matt Comp will also share about their recent trip to South Asia. Contact: Jenna Ray

– Throughout 2017, we will be praying for the persecuted church in our Sunday worship services. You can visit Open Doors to learn more and to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

GIVE

– Along with praying for the persecuted church this year, you can also consider giving to Voice of the Martyrs or Open Doors as they help persecuted Christians around the world.

– During the months of November and December, we exceeded our goal with over $90,000 given to the Grace Missions Offering! Thank you so much for participating in our local ministries, global partners, and Grace outreach opportunities. If you would like to give to this fund in 2017, designate your gift to “Grace Missions Offering.”

SERVE

Begin Anew (formerly Christian Women’s Job Corps) is looking for volunteers to serve adult students as Encouragers and Prayer Partners. Students in their program often do not have helpful support systems, relationships, and role models as they pursue the language and job skills they need to succeed and earn a living wage. – Do you have a flexible daytime schedule and a heart for helping elementary students and teachers? There are ongoing volunteer needs at Tusculum Elementary School. Contact: Stacy Cagle

– The Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Brentwood has several upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Contact: Jeff McGinnis
