Ongoing Local Outreach
We are continuing our partnerships with Tusculum Elementary School and TN Baptist Children’s Home. There are various ways to get involved through “Pack a Laundry Basket” gifts, tutoring, classroom help, special events, facilities maintenance, and more. To learn about these opportunities, stop by the missions table in the Gathering Hall on Sunday.
“Understanding & Engaging Muslims,” November 6-7
We will host an “Understanding & Engaging Muslims” discussion with David Frazier on Friday, November 6, from 6:30-8:00pm, and Saturday, November 7, from 9:00-10:30am. David has ministered cross-culturally for over 25 years. He will share about Islam and how to build relationships and share the gospel with Muslims. Light food and childcare will be provided. Please register for this event by November 4.
Missions Prayer & Worship Gathering, November 8
Join us for a Missions Prayer & Worship Gathering on Sunday, November 8, from 6:30-7:45pm, in Room 253. We will specifically be praying for the Tusculum area. Contact Annie Carter if you will need childcare.
Sunday School Breakout Sessions, November 15
The following breakout sessions will be held during the Sunday School hours at 9:30 & 11:00am on November 15:
- Sharing Your Faith with Internationals — Josh Lansford, a church planter in Nashville, will talk about his experience building relationships and sharing the gospel with internationals.
- Serving Refugees — World Relief will highlight specific ways we can serve refugees living in the Tusculum area.
- Stories: Internationals Coming to Faith — A panel of guests from other cultures and backgrounds will share their stories about coming to know Christ.
