The Lord made a twofold promise to Paul concerning his ministry in the city of Corinth. He promised to be with Paul to protect him, and he said he has many people in the city. Based on these promises, the Lord also gave Paul dual commands not to fear, but to continue to speak the word. The presence and power of Christ to save people is the confidence we have to persevere in gospel ministry to make disciples in our city.

One of the ways that we pursue this mission is by gathering each Sunday for corporate worship, prayer, and biblical teaching.
