Scott and Justin reflect on Scott’s sermon from the book of Ruth. At the time, Grace had been walking through the book of Judges, which shows the depths of sin and paints a bleak picture of the state of God’s people at that point in history. The book of Ruth follows right after and highlights God’s great faithfulness.
Reading Judges and Ruth together reminds us that in our personal darkness, we must keep looking for the light of God’s faithfulness. He will provide. He will keep us. He will fulfill every promise he has made in his good and wise way.
