How has Grace impacted lives? Here is an illustration from this morning that is an example of what occurs over and over in my life.
Today was a very important day in both my personal life and in the ministry the Father has given me. I had a number of key, far-reaching decisions to make. I got up this morning knowing I needed the Father to clearly speak to me. I took my Bible off the shelf and opened it to the section that had notes from Scott’s August 14, 2011 sermon entitled “Why Religion Is Not the Way.” As I read the notes from that sermon, God clearly spoke to me and gave me the assurance that this was going to be a day when He would clearly guide me, not because of anything I have done but because of who He is. By grace and faith He has made me right with Himself through Jesus Christ. I was then ready for the day and the decisions that would be made. I thank God for Scott and for the way He speaks by His Word through Scott to me.
