Jan 07, 2013 Grace Is About God…
Pastor Scott hit the nail on the head (as he often does) in this morning’s sermon. Grace is about God. Grace Community Church is about God as well. That is what drew me to become a member of Grace nine years ago.
I came to Grace with a broken heart and much skepticism. When I broke a major bone seven years ago and needed surgery and subsequent rehab, God used the love of so many wonderful sisters and brothers at Grace to encourage me while my body mended. This process enabled me to then face the soul surgery God urgently needed to perform in me. I gradually began to admit what I just couldn’t admit before coming to Grace Community. Although I had committed my life to Christ years before coming to Grace, I had to admit that I remained a great sinner in need of God’s sustaining grace. Our great God has allowed me to learn more of Him and grow in Him by the means of this grace through the unique fellowship of Grace Community Church!
